Joyce Does-That's Who makes up these questions. But we all get to answer them. Thank you Joyce.
1. What's your favorite meal to serve on a chilly autumn evening?
Soup/Stew/Chili meals. There is something about a warm mug in my cold hands to warm me up both body and spirit.
Cabbage Vegetable Soup I've made in the past.
2. Are you a creature of habit? Explain.
YES, I do the same routine in the bathroom in the same order every morning. I pack the same snack for Becke every day, I wash my hair, rinse and repeat (just like the instructions say to do) :-)
3. What food product (no longer readily available) do you remember and miss from days gone by?
Boy that is a hard one, everything is so preserved that food from days gone by are still here. Hubby remembers something called "Half-Moon Pies". Tang was good, do they still make that anyplace?
4. What's something you've lost that you've never been able to find? Any theories as to what happened?
My mind some days, and our kids stole it so I know what happened to it! It was a good mind, some days I miss it. If you find it please return it to me.
5. Zoo~circus~ carnival...your favorite?
Up here the Zoo's are very small, circus comes once a year and it's been a long time since I've gone because I really don't like to hear how the animals have been treated so I guess I'll take the carnival - and the rides - and the onion rings - and the cotton candy.
6. What song makes you feel instantly happy?
"Don't Worry, Be Happy" It just makes me smile.
7. To what extent are you an argumentative person?
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Just when I though I was getting so strong and near the end of the personal challenge, going strong and working so hard that I was hit with an Asthma attack at work and had to leave to come home and rest enough to breath. I am reminded that allergy induced asthma is no fun. That no matter how strong I feel, something as simple as breathing (or better yet the inability to breath) can drop me on my butt. I had both inhalers at work and used them them but still, I was trying to work, walk, talk and be an employee when breathing was getting harder and harder. Needless to say, I didn't do much towards the goal so far this week. In my weakness I am reminded that in all things God is in charge. Hubby took care of me once I got home and I was able to breath without having to go to the hospital. Thank you God.
Thank you Joyce and for all of you questions, what are your answers?
Thank you Joyce and for all of you questions, what are your answers?
I LOVE your answer to #4! Too funny.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I am not missing Tang. Real fresh squeezed orange juice or nothing for me. ;-)
I'm so glad that you were able to get back to breathing normally without having to go to the hospital. Take care of yourself. {{hug}}
Take care - asthma can be bad at times. I totally understand about the kids stealing your mind. If you happen to find where yours was hidden, look around and see if mine is there too.
ReplyDeleteCrock pot meals and Fall just go together! I never repeat, didn't know people actually did that. I am so sorry about your attack. That is how I am most days with my COPD. I feel for you.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a nebulizer at home with meds, that really helps for the desperate times. ((HUGS))
Just Breathe....
Your answer to #4 cracked me up. I have no children to blame for losing my mind.
ReplyDeleteYour random thoughts about your asthma attack was disturbing and I'm relieved to read that you're alright after that stressful episode. Thank God is right.
I hope you're feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteha ha...I picked Don't Worry Be Happy too!
ReplyDeleteYuck on the asthma attack! Glad hubby was to help you get through it so you could avoid a hospital visit! I remember half moon pies too. Now that is interesting about Tang, I'll have to look for it at the grocery store and see if it is still around here.
ReplyDeletebetty
I think they do still make tang..I don't buy it normally but sometimes make the Russian tea at Christmastime that calls for tang in the mix.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better...that sounds scary.
