I know I'm late today but it's still Wednesday Hodgepodge time!!

I know it's late in the day, but I've been busy and didn't have time to get to this. Besides, since it's still Wednesday, it's all still good...right!  Thank you Joyce.

1. What's one thing you learned in September?
"Normal" is wonderful!!

2. Acorn squash, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, yellow squash, zucchini squash, or blech! hold the squash... what's your favorite squash? What's your favorite way to prepare your favorite squash?
I love them all I don't think I have a favorite one but we are eating a lot of spaghetti squash at the moment.

3. The older I get the__More I look forwarded to retiring_.

4. What's your favorite television theme song ever?

I always liked this show, it ended every time with everyone having a good time.

5. What do you wish you'd spent more time doing five years ago?
Saving more for a rainy day.

6. What item do you most need (or want) to add to your wardrobe this fall?
Shoes and boots- I want a few more choices in colors in my footwear selection.

7. On October 2, 1950 the Peanuts cartoon was introduced to the world. What was your favorite cartoon when you were a kid?
The Jetson's!  I loved the idea of robots cleaning and cooking for me. I'm still looking forward to my flying car, aren't you?

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
Yesterday we started round 2 of Chemo. This time it's dubbed "Kill them all, Kill them dead".  It's a different routine than last time and a lot more confusing so thankfully we have it all written down on a calendar so I know what to do, where to go, and what to take on what day to take it. Thank God for our wonderful oncology nurse Lisa, who took the time to make sure that we understood it all.  So the fight continues.

  1. Good luck with the chemo; hope it doesn't include lots of side effects :(

I too thought the Jetsons were cute to watch, so futuristic, but some of those things we now have :)

  2. I'm right on board with you for question #6! A new pair of boots would be really nice for the Fall Season!.. Have a great week!.. Wishing you well with your chemo therapy, and just be sure to take good care of you! ~tina

  3. Sigh. Blogger acting up again...so this is attempt 2 at a comment!!

Hope chemo goes well and gets all that cancer.

And the Jetsons...I'd forgotten about them!

  4. I still to this day wish I had Jetson's maid!!!

  5. I'd love a maid too....sigh....!

  6. I wish I"d have saved more for a rainy day, too! Hindsight is 20/20, isn't it?

Hoping and praying your new round of chemo will "kill them all, and kill them dead!"

  7. I enjoyed your Hodgepodge answers today! You are in my prayers!!

  8. Forgot about 'The Love Boat'-loved that show. Prays for you to have strength to continue chemo-You Go Girl-Hang In There! (hugs)

  9. I loved the theme song from The Love Boat. I am in love with spaghetti squash. I agree, I wish I had saved more too. Loved the Jetson's and my daughter & I have always wished for the conveyor belt to get ready each day. ((HUGS))

  10. Yes, we're still waiting for our flying cars too : ) How awesome that would be when driving in traffic around the city! Keep fighting the good fight! I continue to keep you and your sweet hubs in my prayers.

  11. Sending you all kinds of good wishes that those cancer cells will all be killed dead soon.
I loved the Jetsons too! Loved the dog. :)

Thank you for stopping by today and if you left me a comment, thank you twice!
