Hodgepodge

Can you believe it's Wednesday already?  Boy it seems to comes so fast these days. It must be the shorter days that makes time fly so fast.  Thank you Joyce.

1. What's one thing that's still the same about you as when you were young?
You mean other than my ring size? Well, I was pretty naive when I was young and I'm told that I still am. I don't see that as a bad thing.

2. What's more important-history or science? Why?
If we don't learn from our history, we are doomed to repeat it so I think history is more important. But I like science better because of all the possibilities out there.

3. Lima, kidney, string, garbanzo, black or pinto-your favorite bean?
Green

4. What's something people come to your town to do?
Water sports, we have a lot of ponds and lakes around us. There are lots of boats on them.

5. When was the last time you were in a meeting? Sum it up for us in five words or less.
Today at work. Fun with food and Friends!

6. What special event would you like a VIP pass to attend?
Nothing comes to mind. Sorry

7. What's one piece of advice you'd give a writer?
Write what you love

8. Insert your own random thought here.
It's cold up here! The blankets are on the bed and the socks are in the dresser.  The almanack says we are going to have a colder than normal winter with more snow than usual.  YUCK!

So now it's your turn, how would you answer the questions?  Join us OK.

  1. I saw on your forecast button that it's 44 degrees there! Wow...that is COLD! I think we're supposed to be in the upper-70's here today and that's chilly to me! Stay warm!

  4. Socks on here, too. Even though the highs are in the upper 70's (and lower 80's for the next few days), it gets pretty chilly at night.

  5. I love your child-like innocence, your naivete. It's one of your most endearing character traits. I love you SWMBO!

  6. We have been taping our favorite shows on TV. We have not watched this week's episode of DWTS. We loved "So you think you can dance".

  7. Ooo! I wish we had a lake...Lake Michigan is about a 35 min drive, but it's just not the same. I'm excited for cooler weather - and wool socks!

  9. Green beans seem to be the favorite bean with the Hodgepodge readers today. They do go well with a lot of entrees.

  10. Yep, I had to put the big puffy jacket on today. It's chilly, rainy and the wind has a nip in it. How long til summer?

  11. oh no with the colder and wetter winter! I think being naive can be a good thing too, especially with some things in our culture and world these days.

  12. It's nice to hear something positive about a meeting. If food's involved it helps : ) I think we're supposed to have a big winter here too. I'm just really hoping it doesn't begin in October like the last two years. Hope you're doing well!

  13. That's so funny, never thought about my ring size but it hasn't changed either. All meetings with food are fun! We have been a lot cooler too and I'm loving it. Of course I do love summer just that this summer we were very, very humid.

  14. Oh my, it IS cold up there in NH! We are still hot and humid here in Florida. Looking forward to cooler and less humid. I enjoyed your answers and chuckled at the ring size! Good answer!
