Thank you Joyce for another weeks worth of Questions. They were not too hard this week and for that I am doubly grateful.
1. Do you believe in miracles?
If you mean the "Parting Of The Seas" type of miracles, the kind when all the natural laws of our planet are done away with - than no, I don't believe in that. The age of that kind of miracles is over, I believe. However, everytime I see a baby, or look at the stars, or watch the snow fall, or hear thunder, or watch a flower grow, or listen to doctors who tell me how my body is designed, I see and hear about miracles. God really knew what He was and is doing.
2. What's a recent fad you admit to trying?
I will have to wait to read what other respondents say because I can't think of one. I'm not usually tempted by fads.
3. Peppermint-are you a fan? If so, what's your favorite food or beverage containing peppermint?

Yes I do like peppermint. When my stomach is upset, I like peppermint tea. I also like peppermint hot cocoa.
4. Break the ice, on thin ice, as cold as ice (emotionally, not literally)...which phrase have you run into most recently? Explain.
I really don't think that I've run into any of these recently. I've met some of the most warm wonderful people ever to walk this planet. I've been really blessed by this.
5. Have you ever broken or spilled something in someone else's home? Still friends?
Well, since I'm sometimes a klutz I'm sure that I've spilled something in someone's home. I'm still friends with people no matter how kultzy I am. They love and acept me, klutziness and all.
6. 'Tis the week before Christmas...are you feeling more like Buddy the Elf or the Grinch before his heart grew?
Buddy the Elf. I Love Christmas!
7. Share a favorite quote relating to Christmas.
God Bless Us - "EVERYONE!
8. Insert your own random thought here.
We've had snow.
Lots of snow. We got about 10 inches of it.
Our front yard is very pretty and white. The roads are a bit hard to drive on.
Both dogs prefer to dream about spring however.
And as I type this, it's snowing - again!!
That snow sure is pretty, Lynn Marie...send some my way, will you? I'll have to try peppermint tea...sounds delicious on a cold day!
ReplyDeleteWe got about 8 inches on Saturday, and another 2 yesterday. It is beautiful! My hubs cleared a path for the dog, since this much snow makes her pace when she's outside and can't find the grass. Yes, he snowblows the grass, but just enough so she has a path. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWe got 10 inches the first storm and another 6 on the second. Yes, we have to plow a path for August, he's only 11 inches tall!!
DeleteOh, my! You really do have snow! Are you dreaming of a 'white Christmas' yet? LOL
ReplyDeleteStay warm and, in case I don't get back here again, have a Merry Christmas!
We have snow also. I am impatiently waiting for Spring. We have enough now. It is beautiful to look at. I am with you there is nothing better than peppermint tea for an upset tummy.
ReplyDeleteWe've had snow on and off the last few weeks. I don't know how many inches, but it's a lot!
ReplyDeleteAt one point it was a sheet of ice. You should have seen my dog in the back yard. She looked like Bambi spinning around with legs sprawling. ;-)
Lovely pictures of the snow. No snow here but lots and lots of rain :( Peppermint is great for upset stomach.
ReplyDeleteMy yard is covered in white too. Luckily I don't have to drive in it. Driving on slick, snow covered roads is the thing I dislike most about snow.
ReplyDeletePeppermint tea sounds wonderful!
lovely pictures. we have so much snow and its cold here in N.Dakota. The roads have been so icy. the other day my husband and i were picking up our daughter from the youth center on base... well coming home he went over an icy patch and the car was spinning in circles. i think my heart skipped a beat-- all my husband and daughter could do was laugh about it!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays

Driving on ice is the worst! I was so glad to be home from work before it got too bad. Your husband and daughter have a funny sence of humor.
DeleteLove your snow pictures! It looks very similar here at our house.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love Buddy???? That is a perfect quote! You have had a lot of snow. I'm with the pups, I would dream of Spring too. Merry Christmas and all things wonderful to you in 2014....Love, Debby
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing snow photos, but am happy to live in Florida! I enjoyed your answers today and our #7 was the same!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your snow! We can't even keep cold weather for longer than a few days at a time. I am SICK of this 70 degree junk. All I want for Christmas...LOL Enjoyed your answers!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE your 70's any time I am so sick of temps in the single numbers and teens. I'm not a great fan of snow.
DeleteYou sure did get snow! Wow! That hot chocolate sure looks good on a cold night like this.
ReplyDeleteSnow looks great! I heard from a pastor a few years back that when God wants to really reveal himself as God, that is when we have those miracles like the parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, feeding the 5000/4000 etc. I think waking up every day is a miracle in itself :)
ReplyDeletebetty
As I continue my walk living with Cancer, I agree, every morning is a smalll miracle.
DeleteThe snow is beautiful when I can stay inside, but I don't like it when I have to go out in it. Your pictures are beautiful though. But I'm with the dogs...I'd rather stay in and dream about the spring. :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
