Weekend Forecast
The weekend forecast for our neck of the woods looks nice except we really need rain! That is small compared to what I've been reading from other blogger's. Seems they need more that just cooler temps.
Many people are having a hard time it seems. Drought, very high temps, sick children, failed crops (it's they way of earning a living), and lost jobs. I've been reading a lot of other post and seeing so many things going wrong for others. I do pray for all of you.
For you all, I leave you with this simple children's song to remind us all that we have joy.
Take heart - Our God is So Big, So Strong and so Mighty, there's NOTHING our God can not do!
Have a great weekend everyone, see you Monday.

They say we're going to have a hard time making it to the low 70's today. And it's raining! Yay!
ReplyDeleteLove that sweet song...have a nice weekend!
Our God is awesome! They are saying we are going to have a beautiful weekend. 80's with low humidity. We've had some rain in the last 2 days too. Hope it helps some.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
This will be my third attempt to leave a comment ... not sure what was going on ... the comment box would disappear right in the middle of my typing my comment.
ReplyDeleteThat song brings back some wonderful memories. When I taught Sunday School, we'd sing that song ... complete with actions.
While we could certainly stand some cooler weather (this intense heat is definitely intensifying the drought), I think we need rain more. Unfortunately, I think we'll be feeling the effects of this drought even after the rains return. :-(
That is a sweet song. My God is an awesome God!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend and I will continue to pray for those in need.
I hear that song often on a cd we have. Those temps look great! We are having a break today with temps in the mid 80's and low humidity. The best part is that there was a little bit of rain this morning!
ReplyDeleteI guess that tomorrow we return to dry, hot and humid, but I am choosing to rejoice today!
Have a great weekend!
Amen, Lynn Marie!
ReplyDeleteIt's in the 90's here today. We've had days of rain which was very much needed.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
As always I enjoy your comments and thank you for stopping by!
Blessings,
