Nemo kept dumping and blowing snow around. We kept shoveling it and moving it from one place to another.
That small yellow building is a very large dog house! No one is using it for a while! The shed is snowed shut for a while.
What a great sight! The plow guy showed up and found the driveway for us. Our drive is about 75 feet long so we hire a company for that job!
Hubby ended up digging a path to under the deck to help out the dogs and give them someplace where the wind was not blowing so hard that August could become a kite.
This is what a 22 inch snow fall looks like once we got a few paths dug out for the dogs. August really liked running back and forth in the snow. But it was very cold so once they got back inside, they were able to relax.
I wish I could fall asleep as fast as Becke can!
We made it out of the house for Sunday worship service, then we played with the grand kids.
I am very glad that the storm is over. I know that winter is still with us but really??? I'm so done with this whole thing. How many days till Spring.
Wow that is a lot of snow! Pretty, but what a pain.
ReplyDeleteI love the way it looks as well, from inside, with a cup of tea in my hands.
DeleteI think I've made my love of snow pretty apparent, but I would say that I'd certainly have to draw the line at that much snow. Too bad you couldn't send 6-8" to us ... it would have been that much less for you, and we would have had some "real" snow for a change. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOr you can come visit and take it home with you - thanks for the sympathy however.
Delete36 days until spring :) (honestly, I follow a blog and she counts down the days)
ReplyDeletewow, lots of snow!!!!
betty
I have a widget in the upper left corner also counting down the days till spring. I just don't always remember what it's saying when I type the blog. I love knowing that we are down to just over a month.
DeleteI've never seen that much snow up close and personal! WOW! I know you're ready for springtime, as I think we all are! Hang-in-there...won't be long now!
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging in there only because I love Spring and Summer is my favorite all time season. Bring on the heet!
DeleteI'm so sorry you have to deal with all that snow, but I do enjoy seeing the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWe like showing them and thank you. I know that not everyone gets to see this much snow. Part of the problem is that is is very cold as well and windy. Really, August caught air this last time!!
DeleteWow, no wonder you are counting down the days until spring!
ReplyDeleteWe're just dealing with rain, and I think I'm thankful!
We got rain today so some of the snow melted but then it froze at night making driving hard.
DeleteSpring is coming, but I think you and I know that just because the calendar says spring, doesn't mean the weather will. Sigh. It is coming though! Stay warm and dry!
ReplyDeleteI for one will be so glad to see the sun and feel the warmth of Spring!
DeleteGlad to see you made it through Nemo with little incident.
ReplyDeleteLiving in Florida, I sure don't miss that sort of weather. Of course, we also get hurricanes, but that's another story....
I've never seen that much snow in my life. I think the most we've ever had here is 14 or 15 inches, at least in my lifetime.
ReplyDeleteAugust looks so regal sitting on the windowsill! And I'd like to be right there with Becke. :)
It's very pretty. I do remember the Springtime in Chicago when many doggie piles would be discovered!!!
