1. What is the most useful book in your house?
You mean besides the Bible? Because that is the most useful book in our house.
2. What's worse-being too hot or too cold?
Cold is far worst. You can only put on so many sweaters, blankets and socks. I have Raynold's and when the cold gets into me, it is very painful and I can not get it out easily. So cold is far worst than hot!
3. Share something that made you smile this past weekend.
We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary on Friday and we had a blast getting away and being together without a schedule to keep. I haven't stopped smiling yet.
4. How do you like your hamburgers? Or don't you?
Burnt! I like to know that my meat is really dead. Then I want spicy mustard, pickles, cheese, and bacon. Hold the bun please.
5. What's your summer beach read? If it's not summer in your part of the world then tell us what book you're reading in front of the fire while sipping hot cocoa.
I'm reading Under the Overpass by Mike Yankoski on my ipad Kindle.
6. How was your birthday celebrated when you were a kid?
It wasn't.
7. What's something that is totally uncool that you love anyway?
Boy I had a hard time with this one so I guess I will have to wait till I read everyones else's to see what is uncool and what you all like anyway. Sorry.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
We took Becke with us on our Anniversary Weekend and this was her coming home. This is what she did the entire trip! I'm guessing she had a good time.

How are you liking Under the Overpass. I read it awhile back for a review. Very thought-provoking.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of your Becke. So cute.
Happy Anniversary to you and your man!
Happy Anniversary...glad you were able to enjoy a little get away! Cute pic of your pup : )
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! I like my hamburgers burnt, also!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 39 years...a major accomplishment these days! I said hot was worse because you can only take off so much. Aww...want to hug the puppy! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought of something totally uncool that I like anyway: Mom pants. I don't like pants that have a half-length zipper, and the waist band around my hips. So I shop at Goodwill for old fashioned, more comfortable styles.
ReplyDeleteAlthough you have gotten over it,it makes me sad to see that your birthday was not celebrated as a kid. I am sure you changed that tradition in your house, and that treating and honoring your children made up for some of the lack you had.
Sounds like you and I have a lot in common with non-celebration of birthdays as children...
ReplyDeleteI also like my burgers burnt--and my hot dogs, too.
Aren't those "get-aways" with no schedules, the best?! I can't wait to do that again!
happy Anniversary!!! And oh my goodness, what an adorable puppy!!
ReplyDelete39 years!!?!?!?! That's awesome. Congratulations. The book you are reading sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, SusanD
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you did not have a birthday celebration as a kid :(
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
What a sweet picture of Becke.
ReplyDeleteAnd as a fellow Raynaud's sufferer, I agree with you on #2. I'm still wearing winter clothes at work since they've outlawed space heaters. :-(
totally agree with you about the Bible!! glad Becke weathered the getaway with the two of you, a world traveler she is!
ReplyDeletebetty
